 About UsJohn and Jennifer Stevenson moved to Brow Top Farm, Hutton Roof, Penrith, Cumbria in 1968 and began pig farming in 1971. In 1974 we began selling our and other locally sourced produce in Carlisle Covered Market which we continued until 1987. We also opened a stall on Keswick Market in 1975 and we are still there! We also had a mobile butchers van until the Foot & Mouth epidemic in 2001 forced us to stop. We then decided to sell on Ambleside Market instead. As well as the markets we sell to various local pubs including,The Old Crown, Hesket New Market and The Snooty Fox at Uldale, local village shops and several bed and breakfasts in and around Keswick. Together we produce our range of delicious, Cumberland sausages, burgers, dry cured bacon, home cooked ham and as licenced game dealers we sell local game in season. |
